Miguel Miceli's practice revolves around the mutation of landscape, at the crossroads of the technological sublime, the occult and ecology. Marked by a childhood spent between an archaeological site in Sicily and the young capital of Europe, cohabitating with ruins and transnationalism led him to explore a world where different temporalities overlap in a landscape testifying of human activities.

Weaving links between ancestral traditions and contemporary challenges, he diverts the anthropocentric gaze through speculative narratives and evolving installations. He often works at the edge of territories, from where he extracts elements carrying personal and collective memories which become memories.

Through his practice, he questions colonial dualisms between nature and culture, subject and object, dream and reality, with an emphasis on non-human beings and inanimate elements.
